Quality typical blue grass grown in the area lawns for many years for easy blending into the neighborhood. These varieties will do well in low maintenance lawns and respond well to lawns with automatic sprinklers and scheduled fertilizer programs.
Short mow varieties of blue grass for golf courses, sport fields and home yards, responds well to scheduled water and fertilizer programs.
Fescue variety referred to as RTF sod used in shaded lawns, parks, golf courses, and high traffic sports fields. This is great for low water and fertilizer required areas producing deeper rooting plants than bluegrasses. RTF grasses also respond well to automatic sprinkler and fertilizer programs.
Hanson Valley Sod works to produce a top quality sod for your home or business, providing small 10 sq. ft. rolls or large 270 sq. ft. rolls. We recommend the use of long rolls of sod, better known as large rolls. These rolls will give better immediate appearance, moisture control in new lawn or fairway, and of course, less installation labor on larger projects.

Installation frame for skid steer loader or small utility tractor is available. Home or job site delivery of your sod order.
Power installation equipment is also available for large rolls. Installation frame for skid steer loader or small utility tractor is available.

Your sod can be harvested for you to pick up at our farm with a 24 hour or same day notice depending on our work load.
Your sod order will be harvested and delivered to your site. A one week notice of the quantity and delivery date would be appreciated to schedule delivery.
Your sod will be harvested, delivered to and unloaded at your site. Again, a one week notice would be appreciated.
For large rolls, with all of the above options Hanson Valley Sod will provide an install frame that will attach to a 30-40 hp tractor or a skid steer loader.
Hanson Valley Sod does have a power sod installer available at a minimal charge.
